ESF Teacher Wins International Award for Innovation
The complexity of collaboration is just one of the thought-provoking topics covered by ESF Sha Tin Junior School lead teacher Paul Campbell in a study that won him the 2021 Innovation Award – an accolade received from The International Congress for School Effectiveness and Improvement (ICSEI) and the Journal of Professional Capital and Community (JPCC).
Paul’s winning research is titled “Reconceptualising Collaboration in the context of Crisis Response and Systemic Improvement” and focuses on the concept of collaboration and its relationship to tackling educational challenges. Judges praised his entry for being an “original idea” saying it “provides strong evidence for real-world impact” and that it was a “forward-looking teaching approach which is related to a significant paradigm shift in education and learning.”
