About the ESF Therapy Centre

ESF Therapy Centre is part of the developing services highlighted in the ESF Special Educational Needs Strategy. It provides access to Educational Psychology, Speech & Language Therapy as well as Occupational Therapy

Our Mission Statement

Through offering high quality Educational Psychology, Speech and Language Therapy, and Occupational Therapy, the ESF Therapy Centre aims to:

Provide a range of professional services in assessing children and young people with additional educational needs;
Through assessment inform the intervention and provision needed to support children and young people with additional educational needs;
Deliver appropriate and timely therapeutic interventions having a significant positive impact on children’s progress;
Provide quality training aimed at building the capacity and confidence of schools and other clients to respond to specific needs;
Use current research to inform assessment and intervention;
Provide professional, realistic, independent advice;
Promote high quality inclusive teaching and learning;
Work in an integrated way with other involved agencies.

Notes:

(* ) For students at ESF schools to access Educational Psychology services, there is no additional charge. Each school will priortise children for the Educational Psychologist’s attention on the basis of need.

For students in ESF Private Independent Schools, ESF International Kindergartens and other students in Hong Kong, services are charged. Please refer to details in the ESF Psychology Service leaflet.
