STC Alumni Sergio Monteiro – a writer and a programming tutor

Sergio Monteiro came back to STC and ran an after-school coding course through BSD Design and Coding Academy. It was held on 20 November at 3:30. The class was very interesting and the students were very engaged.

Sergio has recently also launched his new book called Enoch’s Muse. It is a family saga spanning 5 thousand years. The book is published by Proverse Hong Kong and was a finalist for the 2017 Proverse Prize for Unpublished Fiction, Non-Fiction or Poetry.

“Many of the supporting characters in the book are real historical figures. Depicting them true to life and not as I needed them to be meant a year of research before I wrote one word.”
