Chief Executive Officer
Belinda Greer joined ESF as the Chief Executive Officer in September 2013. Since then, she has focused on leading the organisation to ensure that every student receives a personalised, high-quality education at each stage of their time in ESF.
She has more than 35 years of experience in education and has spent 27 years in senior positions, including 12 years as a school principal, six years as one of Her Majesty’s Inspectors of Education in Scotland.
Before joining ESF she spent several years as the first Director of Joint Education Services for Stirling and Clackmannanshire Councils in Scotland. In her previous role, she was responsible for 85 schools and nurseries, providing education for 23,000 children and young people.
Belinda Greer has both Bachelor’s and Master’s level degrees in Education. She spent the first five years of her career teaching in the Middle East.
