Ms Deborah Hanley is an accomplished educator of Health and Physical Education with over 17 years of experience at Sha Tin College. She grew up in the UK and studied Exercise and Health Science (BSc) and a PGCE in Health and Physical Education. For the past 14 years, she has been a head of year at Sha Tin College, where she has been instrumental in guiding students through their academic and personal development. Furthermore, she completed a Master’s degree in Counseling, with a focus on promoting well-being for both staff and students.
In addition to her teaching experience, Deborah has been involved in many innovative educational programmes at ESF but more notably, she took a leading role in the pilot ESF Limitless experiential learning programme in Australia. Her focus moving forward is learning inclusion and diverse perspectives, to develop strategies to create a more inclusive educational environment. Her passion for education, coupled with her commitment to promoting inclusivity and well-being, make her a highly valued member of the ESF community.
