Professor Tony Ke (柯特) was born and raised in Huangshi, Hubei, China, attended Peking University for undergraduate in Physics and Mathematics and earned his PhD in Operations Research at University of California, Berkeley. Afterwards, he spent five years as an Assistant Professor at MIT Sloan School of Management. He is currently an Associate Professor and Outstanding Fellow at CUHK Business School. His research focuses on understanding digital economy and has been reported by Bloomberg Businessweek and cited at the signing ceremony of a Connecticut law that enacts consumer data privacy protection. Beyond academia, he has worked for Microsoft, Charles Schwab, Walmart.com and Xerox France.
Tony and his family moved to Hong Kong in 2020. His daughter and son attend ESF Shatin Junior School. They enjoy beaches, mountains and food in Hong Kong.
